Studio Noon's Mission
Our goal is to build a creative studio that puts the planet first, from the way we produce to the materials we choose. While not every product we carry is 100% organic (yet!), we're actively working with suppliers who share our mission of reducing harm and creating thoughtfully.
Some of our products, like the ones in the collection above, are already made with organic materials!
We’re excited to keep growing this list — and we’ll always be transparent with our family members like yourself along the way.
FAQ about sustainability
Are Studio Noon's packaging materials sustainable?
We know sustainable packaging is important to our customers, and we’re committed to finding the most sustainable solutions we can.
Currently, we are using packaging made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics for all apparel orders shipped from our in-house facilities.
The share of recycled plastic per bag depends on each facility, but worldwide it’s at least 70% for the outside (white or grey) packaging and at least 50% for the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments.
We completely switched to 90%–100% PCR plastic packaging for apparel products in our in-house facilities all over North America.
PCR packaging protects the products just as well as virgin plastic bags and looks almost the same. However, choosing PCR plastic over virgin plastic is the right thing to do to minimize the environmental impact plastic has on our planet.
We’re continuously working on becoming more sustainable, and we’ll keep exploring greener packaging options in the future. If you know of eco-friendly options that keep costs down for our customers, please reach out!
How is print-on-demand more sustainable than conventional manufacturing?
Traditional retailers produce in bulk before there’s even a buyer, which often leads to tons of unsold items being waster. With print-on-demand (POD), we only make products after an order is placed—so there’s no overproduction.
On another hand, we use direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, which is more eco-friendly than traditional methods like screen printing. DTG uses less water, avoids harmful inks, and lets us print single items—cutting down on both waste and environmental impact.
If you’ve seen our promise that “you can still feel the texture of the fabric,” it’s because we don’t use plastic-like DTF (direct-to-film) transfers. We print straight onto the fabric, so it feels just like it should—soft and breathable.
Are Studio Noon's products shipped sustainably?
Around 86% of Studio Noon's orders are delivered within the same region they’re fulfilled in. Having fulfillment centers close to our customers is good for both the business and the planet. Strategically located fulfillment centers allow for faster shipping times and lower shipping costs, and it also helps with reducing CO₂ emissions produced when transporting orders.
Products available in the same region are shipped together whenever possible. This helps our customers save money and is much better for the environment.
For example, if you're in Europe, we’ll try to print your order through one of our European suppliers. If they don’t carry that specific item, we’ll fulfill it from the next closest location to minimize shipping distance and environmental impact.
Cheaper for you. Healthier for the planet.
Do you offer organic or recycled products?
Yes! We currently offer select products made from organic or recycled materials.
You can find them listed here, and we’re always adding more.
Are your products, other than apparel, sustainable?
Some of them are!
For example:
- Tote bags are made with 100% certified organic cotton.
- Wooden frames use ayous wood from renewable forests.
- DTG products use Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste.
We’re gradually expanding our selection of eco-friendly goods beyond clothing—like reusable totes, sustainably sourced paper products, and more. As with everything we do, we’re being intentional about who we partner with and how things are made.
We’ll always be transparent about what’s eco-friendly, so you can make the choices that feel right for you.
